When one of George’s favorite shirts which he wore in high school was torn in the shoulder instead of tossing it in the garbage, he reconstructed it and gave the shirt a different look.  This would began his interest, adventure, and love in clothing design.  

 

George is the CEO and President of G Franklin Fashions a nascent men’s apparel brand.  Before devoting his work in fulltime to GFF, George served in a cavalcade of careers ranging from full time youth ministry; public school motivational speaker; weekly youth radio host; field representative and liaison for World Evangelism; associate pastor; and lead pastor for ten years at Dominion Faith International Church in Natomas Park, Sacramento, CA.

 

George has written two manuals during his tenure in youth ministry “ Nuts and Bolts of Youth Ministry Mechanics” and “MAPS, Motivation, Attitude, and Plan for Success”.  George attended Mannequin Manor Fashion Academy,  Trinity Life Bible College, and Epic Bible College where he received both an AA and BA in Ministerial studies with an emphasis in Pastoral leadership.

 

As a communicator, George speaks at conferences, seminars, camps, revivals and youth rallies from Hawaii to Europe.  He has been the guest several times on United Christian Broadcast, The 700 Club and Cable Television.   George currently lives in Sacramento, CA and he and his wife have been married for 36 years. Their family consist of three adult daughters, a Son-in-law, a granddaughter, a great grandson and grandson.

The early days of sewing

Shortly after my wife and I was married she asked me what would I like for my first Christmas present, and my response was, "a sewing machine."  I had never sewn before on a machine but I just believed in my heart that I could if given the opportunity.  Well, I soon discovered it was a God given talent.
